02Areas
Areas for collaboration

Education and schools
Host or develop an age-appropriate prevention session, use approved learning material, provide structured feedback or explore a wider school programme.
Community activity
Bring learning into a community setting, help KCK understand a local audience or support suitable distribution and discussion of approved material.
Clinical, scientific and education review
Contribute named expertise to a defined page, resource, video or project. The exact scope and version reviewed must be recorded.
Creative work
Develop writing, illustration, design, animation, video or accessible formats while preserving the approved health meaning and agreed rights.
Translation and cultural adaptation
Adapt approved material for another language or setting. Translation requires review of medical meaning, reading level, examples, images and local official guidance.
Research and evaluation
Discuss a research question, methodology, evaluation or institutional contribution within clear governance, data and public-communication boundaries.
Practical and financial support
Offer suitable services, materials, funding or operational help without controlling KCK’s medical conclusions or public-benefit decisions.
03Your enquiry
What to include in your first enquiry
- Your organisation, role and country.
- The public need or problem you want to address.
- The intended audience, age group, location and language.
- The activity, resource, research or support you are proposing.
- What you would contribute and what you are asking KCK to contribute.
- Proposed timing, scale and any fixed deadline.
- Any funding, sponsorship, commercial purpose or conflict of interest.
- Any safeguarding, privacy, accessibility, rights or data requirements you already know about.
- Links to relevant work or evidence.
PrivacyDo not include medical records, patient information or confidential data.
04Assessment
How KCK considers a proposal

Mission fit
Does the idea support KCK’s charitable purpose and one or more of its three pillars?
Public benefit
Is the intended benefit clear and suitable for the audience?
Evidence and accuracy
What sources and review are needed?
Safety and responsibility
Who is responsible for safeguarding, supervision, privacy, consent and risk management?
Accessibility and inclusion
Can people use and understand the activity or resource?
Capacity and cost
Can KCK deliver the work responsibly with the available people, time and funds?
Rights and communication
Who owns the material, who may use names and logos, and what can be said publicly?
Evaluation and change
What will be recorded, what can be learned and how can the relationship end or be updated?
05Relationships
What collaboration does not automatically mean

A conversation, shared event, donation, logo or named connection does not automatically create a formal partnership, medical endorsement, research role, continuing commitment or permission to speak for KCK.
The public relationship label should match the written record. Examples include:
- School host
- Creative collaborator
- Professional contributor
- Community collaborator
- Resource recipient
- Formal partner
The term “formal partner” should be used only when an agreement supports it.
06Independence
Medical and editorial independence

A funder, sponsor or commercial organisation must not control KCK’s health conclusions.
Relevant financial and commercial interests should be declared and managed.
Clinical review applies to the exact item and version reviewed. An organisation that hosts an activity or funds work should not be described as approving KCK medical content unless it completed and accepted that specific role.
07Schools and community
Schools and community organisations

For a school or community enquiry, include the
- Age group
- Approximate number of learners
- Topic
- Preferred format
- Location
- Timing
- Language
- Accessibility or supervision needs
Host staff remain responsible for their own safeguarding, supervision, first-aid and behaviour procedures during an activity. Photography or recording should be discussed separately and must not be assumed.
08Research
Research and professional organisations

For a research enquiry, explain
- The question
- Your proposed role
- The governance stage
- Evidence
- Data needs
- Funding
- Intended public communication
PrivacyDo not send identifiable patient information or confidential material through the first contact.
KBCK is in development
KBCK is currently in development and is not active or recruiting. A research enquiry does not create a study site, participant route or endorsement.
09Next
What happens after you contact us
KCK will review the message and may
- Ask for more detail
- Propose a smaller first step
- Decide that it cannot take the idea forward
KCK cannot promise a fixed response time.
If both sides continue, they should agree before work begins
- Purpose
- Roles
- Owner
- Timing
- Costs
- Evidence
- Safety
- Privacy
- Rights
- Approvals
- Public wording
- Exit route
No logo or announcement should be published in advance of that agreement.
Start a focused conversation
- Tell us who the work is for, what problem you want to address and what each organisation could contribute. A specific, honest brief gives KCK the best chance of assessing the idea responsibly.
- Do not include medical records, patient information or confidential data.
