01What we do
Our approach
KCK’s programmes support three pillars: prevent what we can, notice and act earlier, and make cancer care kinder. Each pillar responds to a different need.
-

Prevent what we can
Prevention helps lower avoidable risk.
-

Notice and act earlier
Earlier action helps people understand screening and when to seek care.
-

Make cancer care kinder
Kindness shapes how KCK communicates, teaches, collaborates and develops research.
KCK describes the status of every programme because a public website should not make a plan look like a service or a completed event look like a continuing offer.
Status is checked before publication and changed when the work changes.
02Programme
Public cancer prevention information

Active
KCK publishes evidence-led explanations of actions that can reduce preventable cancer risks. The information is written for people without a medical background, with direct sources and clear limits. It covers tobacco, movement, food, body weight, alcohol, ultraviolet radiation, vaccinations and the difference between prevention, screening and symptoms.
The main website provides one concise, trustworthy starting point for everyone. KCK Education Hub develops the fuller age-specific learning for children, young people, families, schools and educators.
03Programme
My Kind Five

In development for website launch
My Kind Five is KCK’s short interactive prevention guide. It helps an adult, parent, carer or household choose up to five practical actions. It does not calculate cancer risk, diagnose illness or decide screening eligibility.
The first version uses fixed, clinically approved rules and stores answers in the visitor’s browser. It asks for no name, email address or detailed medical history. Routes are tailored only by the visitor’s chosen country (United Kingdom, Pakistan or United States) and the type of plan they select.
04Programme
School and community education

Active subject to current KCK capacity
KCK develops and delivers prevention-focused education in schools and community settings. Sessions can combine plain-language explanation, questions, storytelling and suitable activities. The content and format should match the audience, age, place and purpose.
Two separate school activities took place at Beaconhouse Educational Complex G-15 and Roots IVY International School H-8 in Islamabad in October 2025. KCK records them separately and does not add an exact day, attendance total or claimed health outcome without approved evidence.

A school or organisation may discuss an idea with KCK, but an enquiry is not a booking. KCK considers charitable fit, audience benefit, evidence, capacity, safeguarding, accessibility, cost and responsibilities before agreeing work.
05Programme
KCK Education Hub

In development. Launching soon.
KCK Education Hub is the specialist learning platform for children, young people, families, schools and educators. It will bring together comics, characters, topic pages, activities, videos and teaching material in age-appropriate formats.
The Hub and main website have different jobs. This main site explains KCK as a charity, its governance, programmes, research, supporters and ways to take part. The Hub provides the detailed education library.
06Programme
Comics and health storytelling

Active content programme. Availability varies by title.
KCK uses stories and characters to help people approach subjects that can otherwise feel frightening or abstract. The stories invite questions and discussion; they do not prove a medical claim or replace care, safeguarding or specialist support.
Six approved titles are organised across three Ella and Fella series in the Education Hub material.
07Programme
Responsible research and KBCK

KBCK is in development
KCK wants research communication to be clear about what is known, what is planned and what remains uncertain.
KBCK is not an active or recruiting trial. KCK is not inviting participants, offering access, reporting results or claiming clinical benefits or regulatory approval.
Researchers and organisations may send a professional enquiry, but that message does not create a collaboration or endorsement. Public updates will be added only when meaningful information has been approved.
08Programme
Past healthcare and screening support

Completed activity. Not currently offered through the website.
KCK has previously supported free medical clinics and provided bowel-screening kits to hospitals in Pakistan.
09Partners
Organisations and practical support

KCK works with organisations whose knowledge, access or practical support can help suitable charitable activity. Current names supplied by KCK include:
- Bond International
- Riphah International University
- We Buy Any Car
- SAHARA Medical Complex
- Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Peshawar
Each relationship needs its own accurate label. A name or logo does not automatically mean a formal partnership, medical endorsement, financial arrangement, continuing commitment or measured outcome.
10Accountability
How we report progress

KCK will report what happened, when and where it happened, and what evidence supports any figure. Useful activity measures may include sessions delivered or resources provided, but only when each measure has a definition, period, source and approver.
Read governance and accountability →Attendance is not proof that knowledge, behaviour or health changed.
